Hotel Cornavin enjoys a brilliant location right by Geneva's main train station, making it convenient for travelers, and several guests have appreciated the proximity to lovely restaurants and the lake. The spacious rooms offer excellent views, including some overlooking the Notre Dame Basilica and others stretching out to the Jura mountains from the breakfast panorama room. While some found the air conditioning less effective, many enjoyed the modern decor in the lobby and the unique experience of seeing trains arrive and depart from the glass elevator.

I stayed here because of its location adjacent to the main train station. The free transportation coupon was very useful . The staff were nice and efficient. Early check-in was accommodated. The lobby features nice mid-century decor.

My room felt a little clinical. It lacked warmth and personal touches, like pictures or decorations on the walls.

AWESOME Location Next to Train Station!

The location IS PRIME. It's basically AT the train station, so getting around was super easy. I had a really good sized room and bathroom, nice. The staff were also friendly and even let me leave my bags AFTER checkout. Public transport is so close.

The air conditioner was a bit WEAK. I wished it was colder.
