Hotel Cornavin enjoys a brilliant location right by Geneva's main train station, making it exceptionally convenient for travelers, and several guests have appreciated the proximity to lovely restaurants and the lake. The spacious rooms offer excellent views, including some overlooking the Notre Dame Basilica and others stretching out to the Jura mountains from the breakfast panorama room. While some found the air conditioning less effective, many enjoyed the modern decor in the lobby and the unique experience of seeing trains arrive and depart from the glass elevator.

train station city views clean bathroom

the hotel was very close to the main train station. this made getting around very easy. the room i had, a double or twin room, had great views. the bathroom included a bathtub and a shower, i found it clean.

the air conditioning did not cool the room enough.

the location was great, right next to the train station.

My room faced the train tracks, so it was quite noisy all night. the air conditioning barely worked. I had trouble sleeping due to the heat. also, the bathroom door didn't close properly, rather inconvenient.

I stayed here because of its location adjacent to the main train station. The free transportation coupon was very useful . The staff were nice and efficient. Early check-in was accommodated. The lobby features nice mid-century decor.

My room felt a little clinical. It lacked warmth and personal touches, like pictures or decorations on the walls.

AWESOME Location Next to Train Station!

prime location good room friendly staff public transport

The location IS PRIME. It's basically AT the train station, so getting around was super easy. I had a really good sized room and bathroom, nice. The staff were also friendly and even let me leave my bags AFTER checkout. Public transport is so close.

The air conditioner was a bit WEAK. I wished it was colder.

There are LARGE elevators at the hotel that easily accommodated two bikes in travel bags. a person. The eighth floor had a nice view during breakfast. I also appreciated the option to store my luggage safely before my departure.
